Dr Eric Bregman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Following graduation, he completed a one year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Oradell Animal Hospital. He has been practicing veterinary medicine with his father and brother for 20 years.
In 1998, Dr. Bregman began training with Mark Peterson, DVM. Dr Peterson is a board certified specialist in veterinary internal medicine and a pioneer in the treatment of cats with hyperthyroidism using Iodine 131.
Following the completion of the required Physics and Veterinary Training, Dr. Bregman became a Radiation Safety Officer in New York State and opened the Feline Hyperthyroid Treatment Center. Over the last 16 years, Dr. Bregman has successfully treated hundreds of patients with feline hyperthyroidism.
In coordination with Kenneth A. Coleman, ME, RSO, DABMP, DABSNM of Radiation Services Inc, we have created a safe and secure environment to cure your cat of Feline Hyperthyroidism. Our comfortable large cubicles, attentive staff, and video monitoring help ensure a safe, quick and comfortable stay in our facility.
Dr. Bregman is well versed in the pre screening evaluation of cats with hyperthyroidism and the correct dosing and after care recommendations. A 95-98% cure rate with a single injection is to be expected.
